The First Denthog Chigma Chöd Retreat in Hong Kong
with Chödpa Lama Rinpoche

Denthog Chigma is yidam practice compose by 8th Karmapa Mikyö Dorje known as emanation of Padampa Sangye. Detail teachings has been written by 5th Shamarpa Konchog Yenlag. Denthog Chigma literally means ‘The method for accomplishment on one seat.’ This specific practice involves mantra accumulations. And must be done in silent retreat.

This retreat will be taken place in Pak Lap in Sai Kung. Participants are required to arrive on 24 Dec noon, and will leave the retreat site on 29 Dec noon.

Acceptance to the retreat is by registration, with limited seats at 20, and there are prerequisites for this retreat:

• Based on the text this practice must be done in strictly silent retreat. 
• From the day 1 until day 3 you should remain in silence and would not be able to use your telephone. (In Pak Lap there is no mobile network. Please inform your family and friends if necessary)
• You must attend retreat from the 1st day and can not leave the territory of retreat until the end of the retreat.

Participants must have taken refuge. (For those who has not took refuge can join the refuge on Dec 16), and must have attended the empowerment on Dec 18, and also the two teachings on Dec 19 and 20.

Participants have to bring their own Damaru, bell and dorje for Chöd practice, and please bring your own cushions. After registration, participants will be contacted for details.

ALL CHÖ PRACTITIONERS WHO HAVE TAKEN EMPOWERMENT ARE WELCOME

For those who cannot join this retreat, they may still attend the teaching on Dec 20 about retreat practice, and can join the Denthog Chigma retreat with Chodpa Lama Rinpoche in future.

Retreat Schedule:

Day 1 to Day 3, 25th to 27th December
9am- 11am First session Denthog Chigma 
1pm-3pm Second session 
4pm-6pm Third session
7pm Group practice of Chö Dagdangma and confession prayer to restore all downfalls

Day 4, 28th December
5am-7am Chö Tsogley Rinchen Trengwa: First Session
8am -12pm Chö Tsogley Rinchen Trengwa: Second Session 
1pm – 3pm Chö Tsogley Rinchen Trengwa: Third Session
4pm -6pm Manada dissolve ceremony. Dedication prayer and katag offering, gesture of gratitude for the precious teachings.

Registration and Enquiries:

Fee for retreat is HK$2,200 per person, including cost of accommodation and meals, and a set of practice set. All remaining costs will be offered to Lama.
