The most precious Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche
& Precious Chödpa Lama Rinpoche

Machig Ling means the “place of Machig”. It is a center devoted to the practices of the great Buddhist yogini Machig Labdrön. Chödpa Lama Rinpoche comes from a family lineage of Ngagpa practitioners “of white robe sangha.”

Rinpoche also performs the ancient practice of Juthig Mo Divination. Rinpoche offers private divination sessions on a regular basis. This method of divination goes back to Rinpoche’s Grandfather Jadral Pema Gyurme who practiced throughout his life until he was 81 years old, and Father Ven. Yogi Kalsang Rinpoche who has passed into paranirvana since 2013. Now this divination method headed by his sons including Chödpa Lama Rinpoche.

A letter from Chödpa Lama Rinpoche

Dear Friends and Students,

As most of you know, I am a yogi practitioner from a yogi family. It is our tradition to build temples in order to benefit beings and ensure that our lineage teachings continue. Over the years, many great masters have asked me to build a white robe (sangha) temple in India or Nepal, which is my father, Yogi Kelsang’s legacy. It has been my dream to build one since I was 8 years old. However, many things have changed since my childhood, and now, since I live in Canada where, for many years, I have been giving teachings and doing divination/healing like my father, I have noticed a great deal of suffering in Western countries.  Family values have been lost, and many people are depressed and lonely, especially among elderly people. Observing these things, my vision has changed from building a temple to building a Machig Ling Living Community Center in the West. I will continue with the teachings of Machig Labron, and I will continue giving divinations. But to accomplish my vision of building Living Community Centers in the US and France, I would like to ask for continued support from everyone. Please explore my website and considering becoming involved with this amazing project.

With Love and Compassion,

Chödpa Lama Rinpoche
