European Teaching Tour: Cirencester, England

Every year Rinpoche travelling with Autumn Teaching Tour, an annual part of Chödpa Lama Rinpoche’s teaching schedule, in which he is invited by his centres in the countries across Europe – France, Germany, Spain and England.

This year Chödpa Lama Rinpoche is coming to Cirencester to give 2 Days of Practice and Teachings. Rinpoche will give an introduction to the practice of Chöd as well as give teachings on death and the Bardo. You are welcome to come to some or all of these events.

Program

Saturday 22nd September 

An introduction to Chö & Chö Empowerment
10am – 1pm

Chö literally means “cutting”. It breaks the obstacles and obscurations, sometimes called “demons” or “gods”. Examples of demons are ignorance, anger and, in particular, dualist perception of the self. 

Chö Empowerment is a fully immersive Vajrayana buddhist empowerment with a commitment to practice. It is open only for the practitioners who wish to practice Chö.

New practitioners require to take refuge in The Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) in order to begin practice.

Teachings on the 7th and 8th song of “The Union of Mahamudra and Dzogchen”: The Song of Enhancement, The Song of Taking Death as Path *
2:30pm – 5pm

“The union of Mahamudra and Dzogchen” is taught over a four-year cycle. This year, Rinpoche will conclude the four-year cycle teachings on “The Complete Way to Awakening” and will give a commentary on the following two songs of “The Union of Mahamudra and Dzogchen” by the Yogi and poet of the 17th century, Karma Chagmey Rinpoche.

*  — To receive the 4th year teachings you will need to have previously received any Vajrayana Empowerment from authentic Buddhist Teacher.

Chö Healing Ceremony
5pm – 6pm

Traditional Tibetan Healing Ceremony is beneficial to all those who have physical or mental illnesses, it is clears the blockages of the karmic debts of previous lives, dissipates obstacles, purifies negative impacts, dissipates harmful influences …

Sunday 23th September

Mo Divination
