The psoas, a deep muscle connecting the lumbar spine and pelvis, plays a central role in posture, stability, and body dynamics. This conference offers an exploration of its anatomical and mechanical interactions, and how targeted yoga practices can help release chronic tension, optimize alignment, and prevent structural imbalances.
Due to its anatomical location and biomechanical function, the psoas — also called the “muscle of the soul” — is deeply connected to our emotional and physical well-being. This conference invites participants to better understand it in order to feel, release, and harmonize this vital center through postures, breathing, and body awareness. A subtle exploration to reconnect movement, breath, and inner vitality.
A unique event for teachers, yoga practitioners, athletes, or simply curious individuals wishing to discover how this area of the body influences posture quality, mobility, and emotional well-being.

“In every movement, relax your psoas: where posture softens, peace settles in.” For the more stubborn among us, we could add: “Relax your psoas… before it decides to remind you who the real boss of your back is! 😄” Never forget to laugh!
