Denis Malis
Denis is co-founder of the Mindfulness Center in Perpignan and the Machig Ling Buddhist Center in Rivel. He has been following the path of Tibetan Buddhist wisdom for over twenty years, closely guided by his teacher, Chödpa Lama Rinpoche.
It was during a six-year Buddhist retreat that an understanding of the Dharma—the law of phenomena—became deeply rooted in him, permanently imprinting the power of presence, compassion, and inner transformation.
Through retreats, study, practices, and temple service, I have been authorized to share these profound wisdom teachings to inspire and facilitate the lives of those going through difficult times, striving to empower them in transforming their emotions and finding clarity and peace of mind.
My journey combines yoga, martial arts, meditation, dowsing/geobiology, end-of-life support, and energy cleansing. A holistic approach rooted in experience, where transformation comes through practice and inner freedom through the union of body, breath, and mind.
My Coaching Areas
Yoga Teaching (Indian & Tibetan) and Yoga Therapy
A yoga without dogma, centered on the right posture through the alignment of body, breath, and mind.
Asanas, prostrations, psoas work, breathwork, and teachings inspired by the four yogas of Mahamudra: concentration, non-mental fabrication, non-duality, and simplicity.
Meditation Teaching
A path of inner insight leading from concentration (Dharana) to non-dual union (Dhyana).
I organize two immersive 7-day training courses per year: The first level: “Introduction to the Process of Meditation” and the second level: “Deepening and Realizing Meditation.” As well as short 2- to 3-day seminars.
The definition of the Yogi I aspire to fully realize could be summed up in this personal thought:
A yogi is a being who is no longer affected by suffering. It’s not that they no longer suffer, but that they have succeeded in transcending the consequences of their own mature karmic imprints and no longer reproducing their cause, thanks to selflessness in each of their actions.
This is the sign of a tamed, stabilized, and liberated mind. Thus, the simplicity of being can be experienced and realized.
Like the summit that has been able to rise and endure, thanks to the solidity of its foundation.
